To understand the unique quality of Japanese floral decor, Perri studied under the watchful eye of Setuo Kitono, Master of Ikebana and tea flower design.Perri has cultivated a unique style of design, tradition and purpose using natural materials, creating a fusion of craft and cultivated treasures. He specializes in the creation of the client-specific original floral arrangements and the planning and installation of event décor.Perri’s events décor experience is broad, ranging from intimate anniversary celebrations and holiday gatherings to large weddings and gallery openings. Perri adores every project, but-like all artists- he has a favorite. He is always happy to arrange a small but lavish floral bouquet for a woman’s night table… something Just For Her!From childhood, Perri has had great respect for horticulture, beginning with exposure to the natural beauty of western Tennessee. He spent many summers at his great aunt’s home near Memphis (Perri’s hometown), surrounded by fruit trees with great blossoms, roses, and gardenias. Wild grape vines even covered the front porch. Perri has fond childhood memories of that place that shaped his fascination with flora. He remembers his great aunt going out to the garden the morning after a late spring, night-long rainspell. She filled his favorite Flintstone jelly glass with fresh rose water, poured from the great blossoms of cabbage roses that had held the water all night. Then she came to his bedside, waking him by lightly sprinkling drops of water on his forehead. Perri feels Blessed by such memories; they are the spark that created OSHi.At his new studio in the heart of Nashville, Perri works well into the night to create his brilliant cultivated treasures. OSHi… A sure place for healing, forgiveness, and dreams. In his specialty floral work, Perri typically uses moss, boxwood, and topiary shapes, amid clusters of freshly cut florals. These unique designs are accented by vintage containers and vases and adorned with Perri's trademark French ribbon bow. Please visit www.oshiflowers.com for event planning and daily delivered floral compositions.
