About Me

The Wimpy's started up in 1998, with the goal of infusing modern punk rock with the oldies genres that they loved so much; old fashioned harmony and chorus with modern speed, edge, and great production. They decided to sing in English even though the band members are entirely Japanese. To them, English is the native language of rock n' roll, and despite the fact that English is not The Wimpy's native language, they decided to try their best out of respect and love for the music.
