I try to spend a lot of my free time running and cycling, training for some races coming up this summer. Just finished my first Century Ride, so on to bigger and harder things. By day I work for Golden Ventures as a Regional Director of Government Relations. I also own PerryStudios.net , a web development company.
Few things make me happier than a night out at the theater, the Chicago Cubs, peppermint mochas, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, the best friends in the world, giving back, too-expensive wine, performing, and traveling as much as possible.
Do me a few favors:
1. Mark down June 6-7, 2008 as the next Stephen's Favorite Songs concert for charity. Great cause and incredible music. These last two years of concerts have been the most amazing stage experience of my life, and that beats being on stage at Radio City, Carnegie Hall and the IU Auditorium. It's a very special time and a very worthwhile cause. Don't miss the 3rd Annual Concert in 2008! Also, if you want DVDs of the first two concerts, send me an email.
2. We all have to come to the realization that Jason Robert Brown is a god. Embrace it. Accept it. Love it. He's brilliant, and there's really nothing more than can be said about it.
3. Also buy up all the albums by The Early Evening -- They're the best up-and-coming band in the country. Get on board now so you can look cool to your friends in 10 years for being "first".
4. Wear your baseball cap sideways so I can laugh at you. Especially if it's a Cardinals or White Sox hat.
5. Tell me you want to drive around looking at Christmas lights while listening to Charlie Brown's Christmas album. It's about the best thing ever.
6. You can never go too overboard on your Halloween costumes. Don't believe me? Check out "mild-mannered Brian" and his photos.
Oh ya, and "Woooooooo" every chance you get. It'll make you feel great.
