CONMAN first got into the game as one of the main guests of the now classic ‘Bagged Out’ album by VICIOUS CIRCLE back in 2002. Then a year later he then went on to be an integral part of the ‘Legendary Status’ album by the ten-man crew WOLFTOWN COMMITTEE, and has been featuring on releases & mixtapes ever since.
In 2006 CONMAN stepped up to host ‘UK RUNNINGS VOLUME 6’ by TRICKSTA which was extremely well received. In 2007 CONMAN featured heavily on the Wolftown Recordings release ‘Metaphors & Verbs’, as well as featuring on mixtapes by SPIDER LOC (G-UNIT), J HOOD (D-BLOCK), PAPOOSE, STAT QUO, CHAMILLIONAIRE, STAT QUO, GEOLANI, BIG CAS, SYNPLIFE354, RED CAFÉ, RAIN, ST.LAZ, as well as UK acts such as LATE, SUPAR NOVAR, 10SHOTT, CONSPICIOUS THE CORONER, SIZE8, DOUBLE E, CHRONIC REDEYE, DAP-C and many others.
In 2008 CONMAN is ready to take on the international Hip-Hop industry as he prepares to unleash an onslaught of superb releases. First up CONMAN hosts TRICKSTA’s part of ‘Euros & Pounds Vol.3’ which sees 5 of Europe’s top DJ’s get together for one release. Then next up is the FREE download mixtape entitled ‘The Set Up’ mixed by Belgium’s number one DJ MAKASI, which will then be followed by another FREE download mixtape by DJ PIMP from Paris, France.
In February 2008 CONMAN releases with first official mixtape release with Wolftown Recordings which is collaboration with East Coast rapper BIG SKEEM from the well-respected TEAM AFFICIAL camp. ‘Extended Family – The Hustler’s Edition’ features fifteen tracks from CONMAN and sees him collaborate with the likes of US artists BIG SKEEM, RATED R, GEOLANI, PANAMA and JON SPORTIN.
After these three mixtape releases CONMAN will then get ready to release his much-anticipated debut album release ‘Life & Grime’ on Wolftown Recordings, which will feature eighteen tracks produced by TRICKSTA and feature guest appearances by 10SHOTT, SIZE8, BIG WAYNE, LEE DEE, A1, LATE and JAI BOO. This release is currently work in progress but it will be promoted with music videos and singles. With things hotting up in the UK and the rest of Europe, as well as making moves Stateside 2008 is going to be one hell of a year for one of hardest working rappers in the game.
