My name is Vitaly Mirny. I was born on April, 13 in 1975 in Kazan.
I’ve been playing the guitar since I was a kid and could remember anything; about 15 years ago I became a professional guitar player.
At the moment the style I work in is a mix of Jazz-Rock, Fusion, New Age, Flamenco.
Among the musicians who have had a great influence on me I can mention Al di Meola, Pat Matheny though I do not regard them as idols.
Music has attracted me since I was a kid and was always accompanying me even when I was doing ice-hockey for 10 years.
About 12 years ago I started making arrangements for different musicians and singers. In the beginning I was using ordinary PC, was working at many recording studios, now I’m working at my own.During my career I took part in many music projects and festivals as a guest star and solo.In my opinion nowadays the level of modern commercial music both spiritual and performance level are in embryo. To see this you may just turn on the TV.But as far as I am concerned I advocate deep spiritual originality in playing the guitar and writing the music.
Nowadays to be commercially successful in our country and all over the world it is much easier to follow the existing clichés, so maybe I will not be able to change the situation completely but I’m sure that I will definitely influence it.
