"Growing up, we all had aspirations. Doctors, lawyers, models, chefs, we have heard it all. However, as we mature and realism sets in, conditions change, and more often than not, we scarcely remember the faithful ambition we declared to achieve one day.
Of course, we have admirable exceptions.
Kev Speck's boyhood ambition was to be a designer. While the rest of the children had lofty dreams to be action heroes and popstars, Kev just wanted to sit down and draw them. From a very young age, the only subject he looked forward to was art class. One can almost imagine him: Sitting attentively right in the front row with his pencils, paint and papers raring to give it all he's got.
20 years on, the thirst to achieve that dream of his hasn't changed. But circumstances have. Although respect and recognition did not come overnight for him, gone are the days where he had to prove his capability and skills to win favor from clients. Instead, now big names, like Computer Arts, Peugeot, Toni & Guys and many more flock to him to showcase his work in digital illustrations.
