Van Damme and the Elephant Man is a party night run by its namesakes. You might think that Joseph Merrick was dead, but he is alive and well living in east London, I slept with her last night. The first party kicked off in a squat down in Whitechapel. With an unprecedented turn out the evening was a proper collection of east London's finest. There was art from various London based artists such as Laurence Owen (who was caught butt naked on the roof, gyrating backside beneath the milky moon (classy Laurie!)) And others such as Paddy (who kept his pubic hairs in a fridge at Falmouth college of arts to start a colony of bacteria to use in his art). There was also musical greatness ranging from hip hop to spoken poetry and was headlined by the master of chaos Paul Hawkins whose guitarist Lunch got completely naked (nice box lunch moister) All in all the party was a phat fest of fuck ups and freaks and trendies and ghosts!
