Sounds Like: Hailing from the proud city of Dunedin come Small Victories. Blending a mix of Punk, Hardcore and Ska since 2005, Small Victories have been a busy four piece over the years. With the release of their debut EP; “Party with the Dead”, Small Victories' profile has seen some huge boosts; gaining support tours with The Bleeders and support shows with Sommerset and The Offbeats. Their music is fast-paced and high energy with a strong guitar-driven sound and their live show often sports punked up versions of popular favourites. Small Victories encompass the complete Dunedin 'do it yourself' attitude; independently writing, recording and producing all their own material with an easy-going attitude throughout. - Courtesy of Brendan Christie, 2008.
In 2009, back to 3 members - the original line up - and playing fast music. Sorta rockin, sorta 80's hardcore, who knows. Just what we like to hear.
