About Me
Hey we are Go Figure, we've been together for 3 years now. We play rock with a classic rock feel and some other stuff. We've had a lot of fun together and we have to give big props to Layland because we wouldn't be together if they hadn't become a band. Here's the complete bio, if my memory serves me right...It all started Memorial Day weekend of 2003, when Drew, Jon, and Pat got together for the first Go Figure sessions. Plain and simple, we sucked ass. Pat wrote perhaps the single worst and most annoying song ever written, but luckily Drew and Jon realized this and together wrote 3 originals over the next couple practices. For our first gig, at Frank Cogliano's house on July 12th 2003 (thanks Daiv), i forget, for the Hear's first anniversary party, we played 4 songs. they were Raw, Over the Hill, the perennial fan favorite Squirrels in the Attic, and one cover, Born to Be Wild. Althugh Jon's guitar crapped out on one song, making for the legendary "bass only" squirrels, it was an awesome time, and The Hear (now layland) played amazingly well. In the fall of 2003, jon quit for like a week because fucking he's J.Wheat, and a second guitar player, Murph, joined the band for a few practices. He left though after that, but he was real fun to jam with and have in the band. In the winter of 2004, Brendan Kelliher (BK) joined the band on keyboards, and added the spark and vitality that the band needed. We wrote a few new songs with BK in time for our 1st anniversary party at Drews on Memorial Day 2004, which kicked ass. We also played at Layland's second anniversary in August which again was an awesoeme time. In the fall of 2004, we recorded a demo on Veri Furis Records, that had our 5 best songs, including the epic Brendan's Song, which may be our best composition to date. It's so fun to play, definitely see us play it live, its quite the spectacle. After that, we wrote more songs, played a few parties, played with 4 other awesome local Sandwich bands (Layland, Those Guys, Tell it to Sweeney, and Keep Off the Grass) at Tsunami Fest in Feb. of 2005, and had our 2nd anniversary party at Drew's this spring. We also had our best show to date on July 9th 2005 at the Town Fair and played at Layland's 3rd and best anniversary to date. definitely check them out they are fucking awesome. Also, Drew can play guitar now so we have a ton of new songs to debut in the coming months. Def. keep posted to this site and our official site, posted in our information, for show updates. Just come to our shows kid it's always a good time.LIVE 5 below.. width="425" height="350" ..
