I am a do-it-yourselfer.. I enjoy grabbing a burger with friends, marinating ribs all day for a weekend bbq, or hitting the trendy new sushi restaurant downtown. I have very many diverse interests... from remodeling, to rehabs, to disc golf to repelling. From volunteer work to helping write business plans, and even a little weekend landscaping. I love the outdoors and I try to take in as many great experiences that I can. I try to better myself on a daily basis, whether it be passing on the third piece of cheesecake or learning my business from a different facet or point of view. I love to travel although I haven't been anywhere too exciting in quite some time. I would love to sightsee across europe! Especially Switzerland and Germany... I am quite musical, just don't ask me to play more than the 4 chords I know on the guitar.. Drums are my specialty.. I am also a big fan of camping and scouting. I'm an Eagle Scout, it is a rare honor that I am proud to have achieved. I think i still surprise even my best friends occasionally!

I like a little of almost everything. From Stevie Wonder to Stil Gravy to Led Zepplin to Leo Kottke. I think the genre I typically listen to would have to be hard rock and have been discovering a whole new side of christian rock, there is some amazing and powerful songs out there. No speed metal thanks. Big fan of The Urge/Sevendust/Metallica/Rage Against the Machine/etc. I like Country but own very little. Big fan of Stevie Ray Vaughn. I celebrate his entire catalog. I like a little Rap if it has a good beat. Some songs i like for the music.. some merely for the lyrics, and the great ones -both! - more music - Dave Matthews Band/John Mayer/Stil Gravy/Steve Ewing Band. I was into SKA quite a bit in college too.. STL Local bands: Somnia/12oz Prophets/Matts Dads Basement. I liked Jazz in college to study to and sometimes classical. Classical is nice on long road trips. Its like a soundtrack for whats going on outside the car, try it next time you goto work.. Sometimes it is also very cool to put on heavy metal and watch the discovery channel. (as long as there are animals playing... especially Monkeys) No, i don't take massive amounts of drugs. Other music: perhaps all-time fav Alice in Chains (Jar of Flies), Most 90's Grunge, some rockabilly (Ronnie Dawson). Types I stay away from: AM Gold (i.e. elevator music) oldies from the 50's-60's, this new line of 70's music that the kiddies like nowadays. R&B. most punk although it shouldn't be classified in any way with the former. Most of the stuff i like now is derived from it. so I can appriciate that. Thats about it.. I know what I know, and I know what I like so if you dont like it, too bad for you.
