About Me

Hauntingly captivating, mystically spellbinding, a whirlwind of motion...the melodic storm from within. It is easy to lose yourself in the music of Rob Storm no matter what type of music your into. The Storm...is all encompassing. Robs fans (from literally every genre) and his peers all agree his magical presence is undeniable. Song for song Rob Storm puts you in a trance, with his eerily hypnotic melodies and lyrics that everyone in most genres can relate to.Birth name Storm; not only does the name reflect his immensely powerful musical movements, but it also is his inherited name from his father, who inherited it from his and , who was christened the name the night he was born on a ship off the coast of Norway, in a storm so profound that it would become a name legacy and an omen of musically entrancing power.Rooted deep in a musical upbringing, both Robs parents and his brothers all shared their passion and talent for music. By the time he reached his teen years Rob was playing local venues with his family. After college, Rob moved to Texas and got involved playing with "lolita Grey", a Dallas based original band wher Rob was one of the primary writers. The group went on to record 3 full length albums and recieved significant attention after Dallas station 94.5 THE EDGE(george gimarc DJ) began airing the group. In 97' Rob and his brothers Ben Cyllus and Thomas Bergendahl recorded a record as well.In 2000, Rob left Dallas and moved back to his birth place, Toledo, oh to begin writing and focusing on a solo-artist career. In 2002, Rob teamed up with producer John Sevilla(The Wizard) who was blown away by Robs natural ability to transport the listener to a new realm and by the musical chemistry they shared. In 2004, Rob released his first solo record. Despite a low budget they managed to produce a great first record. In 2006 Rob finished recording his second album, again under a very tight budget. In 2007, Rob was honored to play his single("Take Me Back, Toledo") for the mayor of Toledo, Ohio.Robs life has always been, and always will be-music. The pursuit of musical bliss before a live audience. He craves any opportunity to perform his music. The praise of loyal fans truly fuels Rob Storm, it's what he lives for, and it's what keeps him going. He is the authentic singer songwriter, the real deal!
