Hello! I am the tater tot! If you don't know me, then you're about to. I am a form of hash browns and I taste delicious! I taste especially spectacular with ketchup and a cheeseburger. I was first produced in 1953 by the Ore-Ida company. I became available in stores in 1954. I have been a popular tot ever since; American's consume approximately 70 millions tots a year!!! In other countries, I am called "potato pom-poms" , "oven crunchies" and my favorite, "mexi-nuggets." Whatever way you put it, I am just the best potato ever!
