The band met and formed Pigshit Engine while squatting in New York City. J. J. Gilbert (The Copper Cowboy) met John Dolan (Choking Victim) and asked Mike Dreg (The Dregs, Virulent Strain, Death Mold, etc.) to play bass. They asked Jay (Code-7, Led by the Blind, Whipsnail) to sing lead. Enoch was recruited a few years later as second guitar. Allison the keyboard superhero and a selection of the Pigshit Angels are both on the recording of "Orange Beverage" featured here. During late 06/07, Pigshit Engine recorded the album "Early Tracks" at Kampo Studio (NYC) with Ian Larkin at the controls. The members went separate ways after the recording, occasionally surfacing by surprise at shows and parties, sometimes with other musicians in the lineup.
"Early Tracks" contains 12 songs and is a sort of "Best Of" of all the material written before 2008, including all of the most popular songs and all the songs available on this myspace page. Send a message if you want a copy and can't easily get one.
Pigshit Engine reformed in fall '08 with ALL original band members and with Jacky Sparkles as an additional guitar/etc. player.
