Underground Stories

The band started in the middle of 2007 in the town of Ptolemaida (Greece) with the name “F.A.K.E.”. At the time we were 4 members: Kleanthis (Vocals and Guitar), Dimitris (Guitar), Pantelis (Drums), Simos (Bass) and most of times we were playing Greek rock music. We recorded our first demo in December 2007 with one of our songs (Logia – written by Kleanthis) and four covers (you can listen to all of them in the media player of our home page). Foul of hope, we sent the demo to the Schoolwave Festival and we were chosen to be in the final 80 bands that passed through the demo audience. Meanwhile the band had taken part in many lives here in Ptolemaida with great success. In April 2008 we played for the second audience of Schoolwave, but unfortunately we didn’t pass. So after that the band took a little “summer break” and in the middle of 2008 we started playing again. This time we changed our style and we were looking for a new name. So, we start playing British punk/rock and experimenting in something completely ours. Well, the new name, Underground Stories, came in December along with our new guitarist Bill! He was adjusted to the band really quickly and some weeks later, in January of 2009, we recorded our second demo, this time including two completely ours songs!! Now we are on a standby mode waiting for the results of Schoolwave Festival 2009.
