I'm a very progressive liberal. I am politically active and want to create a much better world. I believe we have the means to create a nurturing and harmonious world at our fingertips today. We do not yet have the inspiration and confidence (most are too buried in being frightened or self-absorbed). I grew up in the Santa Cruz area and southern Indiana (I have family in both areas). I now live near Santa Cruz (south of San Francisco), and love meeting fun and creative people from everywhere. I helped raise four sons, now in their 30’s, and I am very proud of them. I now have a wonderful family with now 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter (just arrived!). My wife of 18 years and I have gone separate ways, but are still friends.
I am part Cherokee; my great-grandmother was full-blooded Native American. I believe that the Universe is full of wonderful things and is exciting to explore; I have explored transcendental states of mind and seen many beautiful places. I would like to travel around the world when I retire and learn of love and art and music from around the world.

I am multi-talented and enjoy being a jack-of-all-trades. I love guitar and singing, politics and social change, tai chi, music, dancing, hiking, bicycling, swimming, massage, repairing things, animation, drums, photography, writing, arts and crafts, electronics, computers, multimedia, theater, home remodeling, studio recording, teaching, journalism, organizing, painting, and much more. I have many, many interests and find many more things fascinating.
