About Me

Hi...thanks for stoppin' in. Just a quick note...I was born and raised in Den Bosch(Boss) Holland, a small town south of Amsterdam. My parents decided to leave Holland for L.A. when I was about 7 and I grew up mainly in the SGV. I Got into music at a young age and been wood shedding ever since...trying to polish a craft I love the most...playing drums. For a little over 7 years now I've been freelancing as a drummer helping out bands and artists on albums and tours but before all that, I started listening to classic rock and soul music. As I grew older my love for music did the same so I naturally began to gravitate towards funk, reggae and hiphop...even messin with that brazilian world of samba music. I can best describe it this way...and I heard this stuff a lot...Steely Dan*Donald Fagen*TOTO*EarthWind&Fire*Level 42*Manhattan Transfer*Larry Carlton*Boz Scaggs*Bobby Caldwell*Los Lobotomys*Andre Crouch*Matthew Ward*The Winans*Stevie Wonder and the list goes on.
My biggest gig to date was being on the "Stir The Senses Tour" for Salem Cigarettes where I accompanied Dieselboy a Philadelphia based Drum&Bass DJ & Messinian touring with 3 of my favorite acts...The Roots, Outkast and Martin Luther. I've also been blessed to play with a handful of great reggae bands over the years in the south bay & long beach area. One artist in particular, Solomon Jabby a roots/reggae artist & producer is someone to check if you're into that roots reggae sound. www.myspace.com/thedubrevelator.
C-Money & The Players Inc is another great band that I've been helping out on drums. With members of Slightly Stoopid, Love And Groove, and Pysdecar, I'm definitely blessed to be a part of the vibes and experience all these players bring to the table. Check out the Players Inc www.myspace.com/playersinc
Spacebus is my own band that I'm currently in the studio with. I'll be lettin' you all know more on our progress as we go a long. This band has sounds influenced by a handful of my favorites mentioned above. Lookin' forward to this one.
finally...like all of us...it comes down to this...I'm a fan of music and it's something I'll never get enough of...so now I'm putting on shows bringing in some great acts from all over the nation that make their way through Long Beach. Simply put, I love doing this and when I'm not gigging, I'm at a great show vibin' out to music I really dig.
After tossin' the idea around for a minute, I got around to pushing Den Bosch and with a little help of some of my close friends, we're looking to take Den Bosch Entertainment from Long Beach to Hawaii and eventually back to Den Bosch. I'm not a promoter...I just like putting on great shows and exposing great music to people that need to hear this shit. Call me a helper if you will. If you're a band coming thru the LB...get at me...or eventually I'll find you somehow. Let's talk stories.
Thank you all in advanced for supporting the music you love I appreciate you being here
