Oldboy are Kevin Kehoe (vocals) and Wolfgang Schilhaneck (Arrangements).Kehoe comes from Waterford in Ireland and settled in Germany in the summer of 1996. Schilhaneck has been involved since the 80..s in the Reutlingen underground music scene. In 2006 Kehoe met Schilhaneck while playing with their retrospective bands in diverse clubs in the region and in the autumn 2007 Oldboy was formed. in mobile book studio in the winter of 2007/2008 they recorded their first cd „i hope it..s just the batteries“.The debut-album „i hope it..s just the batteries“ will be released in april 2008. The band..s sound has it..s roots in the melancholic post punk and new wave english bands of the early 80..s with influences varying from nick drake,the beta band and massive attack.Enjoy.......
