Evangelist Marissa R. Farrow

About Me

Marissa Renee Farrow, was born to Bishop Robert E. and Evangelist Jacqueline L. Farrow on June 19, 1989. Called before the beginning of time, destined to do a great work, and willing to go for God wherever he may take her. Marissa has attended the Mt. Calvary Free Will Baptist Church since birth, under the pastoral covering of her father Bishop Robert E. Farrow. Over the years at Mt. Calvary Marissa served on the Jr. Ushers and Nurses board, The Jr. Missionary board, The Ordered Steps step ministry, and the T.C. Youth and Young Adult Chorale in which she still serves today. On March 4, 2007 Marissa preached her initial sermon entitled "the unshakable call" from Jeremiah 1:4-9 and psalms 27. While traveling on tour with the "T.C.'s" ,she encountered a worship experience she would never forget. She had received confirmation of her calling through a prophetical word spoken during that experience. She went before the Lord and wouldn't move until she heard from God. On that night June 23, 2003 Marissa answered YES!! To God "Your will be done in me". Since than Marissa has been called to many occasions throughout the state of Maryland which have included; Workshops, Prayer breakfast, Youth day services, and Sunday morning worship services. She is currently matriculating her studies as a, biology major at Delaware state university. She is also pursuing a bachelors in theological studies at the Maryland Theological Seminary. Marissa is ready and willing to go wherever God sends her. Her favorite quote is "God if you send me I will go, if I have to go down to come up for you God I will go". She loves the Lord and knows that it's only by His grace that she has come thus far and His mercy which will lead her on. "I shall live and not die, and declare the works of the lord. He has chastened me sore BUT!! He did not give me over to death"-Psalms 118:17-18

Sounds Like: The sound of Jubilee... Minister Farrow loves to make a joyful noise unto the lord.." In the days we live in God is looking for a sound. a Sound from a people who want to be set free, a people who are done playing, a people who are tired of habitual cycles that have no breaking point. God Wants the sound to start within us and make it's way up to heavens. You can't make an effective sound if you have wasted all the voice you had crying out to situations that were never supposed to be. You can't make an effective sound that will escape into the heavens if you are stuck between four walls. God wants to hear the sound of a war cry, The sound of full fledged Warfare. God wants to hear the sound of people who are fighting for their lives. He wants to hear that we need him. Now is the time to cry unto God. Not just from your voice but from the very depths of your soul!" -Minister Marissa R. Farrow (Excerpt From sermon:"Between a rock and a hard place")
