Jay West has been rapping since he was 12 with his best friend Jeff. Jeff moved to Florida leaving Jay to move on. At the age of 14 he moved into the field of producing and got serious with rap in o4’. Really didn’t have the voice for rapping others would tell him, he just lived with it. Until the puberty kicked in, he got used to his new voice, new attitude, and new situations. In December of o5’ Rock Boyz was created by him and Biggie. It started off with just a set in Far Rock also known as the 6th borough.
With a few good dude like Stack Bundles, Cassidy, Fabolous, Eminem, and Lloyd Banks, influenced him, he decided to take it out on the open. Progressing harder and harder on each track. Some say he haven’t reach his highest potential and still working on it but the level he’s at, is like vet’s mind state. Hazurd is in the Rock Boyz as well, the younger, slick punch line hitter, is Jay West partner at this rap game. “Im here to clean these niggaz mess†Jay and Haz explains to people.
Hazurd started rapping he was 8, he got serious with it at the age of 13. He started off with beats on table like every “regular day dude“, he started young. He joined a group called the “freestyler†and “0203â€, he wasn’t feeling the group, there aroma was not fitting his attitude and style. During his freshmen year he let Jay hear his demo. Jay heard only 3 tracks put him on the squad instantly. Three weeks later they made there first mixtape called “Unsigned Hype: Get Emâ€, then months later they created “Listen Closely†which SOLD OUT. Hazurd is ½ of the heavy hitter in Rock Boyz.
Rock Boyz started off as a set and moved on to a music group. Jay and Haz are determined to make it in game, so far they received offers from little independent labels. But nothing to major, refused them all. They are presently unsigned and working on there mixtapes or just tracks to keep people entertained, “this shit is a hobby and im fucking with dudes cash flowâ€. Jay West and Hazurd is known for mixtapes. Rock Boyz have a DJ called Physics, respect him, there moving up with there DJ.
Di Juan has been family since Jay West was on the come up alone. First time they spoke was on acidplanet.com. Di Juan is located in Cincinnati, in 2007 of March Di Juan was officially put down as Rock Boyz. J
