About Me

I am King Henry V, king of England and France. I rule both countries with an iron fist, all of my enemies fear my wrath! I was born on the 16th of September 1387 at the great Welsh city, Monmouth; no English upbringing shall douse my noble Welsh blood! In my childhood I was brought up to fight, as any good Englishman should! I served under many various commanders and my greatest victory was when I was in charge of the English Army and I defeated Harry Hotspur. My rise to the throne was certainly not one of fairy tales; it was particularly bloody and greedy. My father, King Henry IV, became overcome with greed and jealousy and tore my uncle Richard II from the throne and left him to die in the tower of London. I still believe the blood from my father’s hands has washed unto me and is there anything I can do to avoid the fires of hell? I am but a man as any other so I have had my dark hours. My wild youth spent in and around the Cheapside Tavern with Nym, Bardolph, Pistol and Sir John Falstaff were very dark days in deed, a stain of my royal blood, but as a wise man once said to me “What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger” and I believe this experience can only help me become a better person. The French the most hated of all English enemies was defeated by my greatest English army at Agincourt, on the day of Saint Crispin. Our great army were severely depleted, ravaged with disease and hopelessly outnumbered by the French. We met at the field of Agincourt and our noble and great English spirit crushed the French arrogance on a great day for England!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

There are many people I would like to meet for a variety of different reasons. The prince dauphin of France, you turned your own tennis balls into gun stones. We want to war with your country, you avoided us at Harfluer, typical of your cowardly nation and it ended up as your demise, O great Prince! To my father, Henry IV, I would love to meet you again. My time on this earth with you was never going to be long enough, I still live with the shame in which I strayed from the path you laid out for me. To the brave man that fought alongside me at Agincourt, I salute you. I should like to meet you brave men, full of valour, again to relive the glory of the greatest day in English history!
