Omer's Bristol based Company - Feel Good Drums - tutors all ages from 8 year-olds upwards, in hand-percussion and drums. Djembes, Congas, Dunduns, Bongos, Bells, Shakers, Triangles, Maracas and many more!
Omer is the lead singer and percussionist in the band Mankala , a five-piece Afro-Caribbean Fusion band. Mankala has built up a strong following both in the UK and across Europe at festivals like Glastonbury, La Fete Du Fleuve (Bordeaux), a tour across The Canary Islands and the Ashton Court Festival (Bristol).
Kayali is the name of Omer's solo recording project, a set of live sessions which is due for release Dec 2007: watch this space....
