About Me

For booking of events, clubs, shows, ect. or beats contact me at [email protected] up, I was born in Orange County CA. in the city of Santa Ana. I lived on Gunther St. now dats a real rough hood for those who aint from around the way. As the years passed my parents moved around a lot before they split up so I was all over Santa Ana, in Costa Mesa, Fountan Valley, and Irvine. I stared rapping when I was around 10-11 yrs. old my cousin got me into it and Im glad he did, we use to just mess around and freestyle about stupid shit. When I was 13 yrs. old I got my 1st. D.J. set. It was one of those crappy ones you see in the back of the Source or XXL magazines. I had a Shitty little 2 channel mixer and two belt drive Numark turntables for those who know what Im talking about you know that they suck really bad, but at that time to me that was the SHIT!!! I up graded my stuff as I got older and eventually got me some Technice 1200s and a vestax mixer, now that was the shit. I use to record mixtapes and have homies drop freestyles in the middle of them over instrumentals, and when I say mixtapes I literally mean mixTAPES on actual tapes. C.D. burners where just barely coming out at that time. By the time I was 15 yrs. old I went digital got me recording programs for my moms computer and started recording on there, she would get pist cuz I was always on it. At the age of 17 I started making beats and recording actual trax, of me and guys from around the way. I was the only kid on my block w/ a studio if thats what you wanna call what i had. It was nothing but an acid pro program for recording my turntables and a $20.00 mic from radio shack. A few years after i was out of high school I was able to up grade my shit. By the time I was 19-20 yrs. old I had perfected my style as a rapper, producer and D.J. around that time me and my group The Marx Men K.l.i.Q. (we were just known as the K.l.i.Q. back then) were about to sign a deal w/ THUMP RECORDS. The only thing was the dude who was getting us the deal was also trying to skrew us w/ some sign your soul on the line type of shit, this mother fucker wanted to take credit for the songs we wrote and the beats me and Lac made for 10 years. no matter what label were on or indorsments or what ever he gets a big slice of that no matter what and he dont even have to do shit just sit back and have us do all the work while he gets rich off us. So we were like FUCK THAT AND FUCK YOU!!! So about a year later after getting tired of dealing w/ snake producers and A&Rs I decided to take my music into my own hands and stop waiting around for labels, not that Im against labels if a good deal comes along you better belive ill sign it. I just realized you can wait around for shit to happen some times you have to just go out there and take it. So by the time I was 22 I was done with all that bull shit and stopped hustling in the street i finally decided to go straight and get me a 9-5 and start hustling my music, so i started recording my 1st album in early 07 with this guy from my work. He was this white boy real rock star looking mother fucker, he had that indi. rock type of style he kind of looked like rick rubin back in the 80s but he knew his hip hop and he had his own studio and his prices were dirt cheep no studio i have ever bin to could beat those prices. So we got to work and we recorded my album called "The Soundtrack 2 My Life". I recorded half the album with him and the other half at my place. So here I am today in 2008 23 yrs. old just trying to get heard and get my stuff out there to the public. I also just finished an album w/ my group "The Marx Men K.l.i.Q." and co. produced my homie $ean Gs album.
