Autopilate

Autopilate first came to life as a four piece noise emitting machine from deepest, darkest dorset. Coming together in early 2005, these four unlikely companions joined forces to form a band that would allow them to write and perform any music they felt they would like to immerse themselves in. Blending melodic yet urgent vocals and erie soundscapes with harsh, dark, dissonant riffing, screaching guitar solo's and complex drum patterns, yet all in an un-flinching and un-apologetic sense of rock 'n roll, has enabled the band to develop something wholly unique yet sonically and harmonically familliar.Evidence of this can be found on Autopilates explosive debut long player, "I Believe This is Yours", where each member draws from radically different influences (musical or otherwise), to create a noxious yet beautiful infusion of raucous ear candy.
After a brief hiatus, due to other commitments, a third guitarist was added to the melting pot in late 2006, again from a slightly different musical background, so the band could further evolve thier already huge and complex sound in to something yet more wonderful and compelling.With writing already in progress for album number two and the band about to embark on some more of thier trademark high energy live shows, things are looking peachy in the Autopilate camp.If you want to add us and/or book us for events just add us or drop us an e-mail!
