JOEL LEE- gtr,bass,drums,& loops/drones.
Influences: All kinds of progressive, experimental stuff - Zappa, Ornette Coleman, My Bloody Valentine, Kate Bush, Coltrane, Miles, Beefheart, Sun Ra, Eno, Ravi, Reich, Glass, Riley, Harry Partch, Olivia Tremor Control, Sonic Youth, Zeuhl, Ariel Pink, Animal Collective, etc etc... you get the idea.
Sounds Like: Acoustic drums, Electric guitar, Bass and Loops/Drones improvising in a circular pattern. Well, that's what I shoot for anyway. Sometimes it just has a mind of its own, and I go with the moment. The finished tracks are then spliced together with sound effect segues and other strange things. This is a compilation of improv pieces ( not songs) where you can still tap your feet to the beat.
Record Label: PARALLAX SOUNDS
Type of Label: Indie
