Heather performs most often as a solo, duo, or trio. You can also catch her a few times a year with her full band line-up. She also works with Joe Waslousky - (Jack to My Friends), Dale Cinski (Icecream Headache) and Korel Tunador (Goo Goo Dolls), John Purse (Crawlin' Low, OPEK), and Jim Relja (Regular Joes). Heather also plays as a duo with Keith Hershberger called The Too Tall Americanos, which feature both of their songs plus cover tunes. And last but not least, Heather is part of a group of women singer/songwriters that call themselves The Riveting Rosies. They perform an annual show and are comprised of Eve Goodman, Janet Ingram, Tracy Drach, and Sue Gartland. Past Rosies have been Patti Spinner and founder, Stacy Mates.
Influences: Poets, mostly. Folks like Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Sting, Suzanne Vega, Mark Eitzel, Kate Bush, Me'Shell N'degeoCello, k.d. lang. Very into Lizz Wright and k.d.'s new albums...
Sounds Like: Elements of Tracy Thorne, Diana Krall, Norah Jones, Eleanor McEvoy, Nanci Griffith, Sting, Shawn Colvin, Suzanne Vega...but mostly like a rainy Saturday morning, honey on ice-cream and unrequited dreams...
