..
I was probably about 4 years old when I got the greatest gift of my life; my first snare drum.
Almost everyday I played on the snare and started to develop a feeling for rhythm. When I was 6, my parents gave me a drum set from the local toyshop. But after 2 months there was nothing left of it; needless to say I beat the crap out of it.
On my 7th birthday I bought my first drum kit from the money I saved. A few years later when I was 12, I bought my second. It was a black Thunder drum kit, pretty nice for a beginner!
When I developed my drum skills more and more, I bought a Sonor Force 3000 Birch. This was when I was about 16 years old.
A year ago I heard about the new brand SPAUN from America. I wanted to play on it as soon as possible to try and experience the sound of a kit like that in real life. I was very impressed with the full rocksound that it produced!
I had some contact with the owner of Spaun Drumcompany about what the possibilities were.
So the choice fell on a black serpetine drum set with a 22" bass drum and 10" 12" 14" and 16" toms with a 14"x5.5 snare drum.
I'm very happy with this kit and can't wait to get into the studio to record with it!
It has a great full sound and with my Zildjian cymbalset (A-custom) it really rocks!
Bands I played in:

2003: Atoms of Roses (coverrock)
