1999 Ramos's story begins on "Belle ile en mer", a beautiful island of the Atlantic Ocean. With him, singing ,and a guitar player. Flying to another island (la Reunion) on the Indian Ocean, he discovers "Maloya" the local music and learns a Percussion instrument called "kayamb" (see pictures) ramos visits Mauritius and get familiar with the music called "Sega" 2000, performed in Belle ile en mer, and flys to Senegal (Africa) for inspiration. On 2001 he performed in Nantes accompanied with kajone (spanish percussion) and kayamb. His songs are touched by creole and senegal language (serere) he had collected while travelling. in the summer of 2002 ramos became 3 ,guitare,kajone,and kayamb. Ramos recorded his first album (7 songs, including tni li neshika) in Belgium at "David Guillaume studio". Added a bass player, he continued to perform in Nantes Paris and Belgium, in the summer of 2003 an "island tour"on Belle ile en mer which ended with a big concert . Two new musicians percussions(congass,guiro,darbouka) and digiridoo were added. the concert was recorded by David Guillaume.2004 Ramos moved to israel. keep on writing songs and looking for people to play with him his music. He learns Hebrew , hears new influences from the middle east music, starts to write in Hebrew and gives his recordings to people he meets. 2007 Uri Kalian contacts him and they record a new version for "tni li neshika" at "sofa sound studio" the single released in August with two tracks on side b "touti baba"(David Guillaume Recording) and a track from the live concert "commun roi" (DGR) ramos is always looking for new musicians to develop and create his : "music from my journeys in the world".. ://http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=view Image&friendID=247899495&albumID=373321&imageID= 13945592
