Freddie Flicker and his five nose pickers

About Me

Freddie Flicker is back without is nose pickers. Freddie Flicker is trying to flying solo for now.Actually, Freddie has been ill for awhile and has not been able to sing or play for a very long time. He is slowly regaining his vocal ability but has a long road ahead of him before he is back to his old self again. He is still very limited at what he can do. But he gets "Straight A's for trying"!For those who do not know about Freddie Flicker and his five nose pickers, they were popular in the Cleveland area in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Their style was a mix of Heavy Metal and 1950's Country Music. "Metabilly" is what their music was termed. Country music with a head banging beat. Freddie and his group would scream out great rockin' versions of songs such as "Folsom Prison Blues" and "Rockabilly Boogie".I created this page to try to connect again with any of the old Freddie Flicker fans that may still be out there that might wonder whatever happened to him. Well, Freddie is alive and getting better. Who knows? Maybe a reunion of the five nose pickers will be in our future!..................................................... ....
