Our modern fashion industry is flawed for a couple of reasons. For one, fashion is dictated by runway designers who are building thier clothing more for the runway models then the adverage women. This means that if one goes with the trends, there might not every season, there will be a flattering silhotete that will work for your particular body type.
the other reason the fashion industry is flawed is that most lines that you are going to buy a dress through run on either missy sizing ( 2-14) Junior sizing ( 1-13) Petite sizing or women (plus) sizes.
The problem with number sizing is that each line runs differant many women will have up to four or five sizes in thier closet from differant makers, and each one fits the same.
This makes it quite hard when ordering online or through a catalog, or even just buying in a store.
At my little black dress, we don't believe in sizing or trends. All our dresses are made to your specific measurements, and while trends come again you design the dress that is specific to your body type and your personal taste.
