For more than 20 years, her love for soca music came from the strongest musical influence in her life namely the genius of the fantastic four; Oungku, Onyan, Bubb-I and Foxx aka Burning Flames (today they are known as Sir Oungku & the Red Hot Flames and Onyan & Burning Flames). *** In 2006, she took part in the Dee Jam Festival in Antigua. In 2007, she hosted Antigua’s UK “Golden Jubilee” Carnival Roadshow with a delegation from Antigua that included musicians Onyan & Burning Flames, El a Kru, Claudette Peters and panists Lacu Samuel and Patrick Henry. *** She became the Reigning Champion of Soca Splash Level 4 Trophy Island Competition in London in November 2007. Another victorious clash was the following month at The Official Soca v Bashment Clash. Since her arrival on the scene she has hosted the 2006 & 2007 Independence celebration for Antigua & Barbuda in Leicester and London. *** Miss Antigua regularly djs at various functions and is with the Caribbean Revellers troop at Notting Hill Carnival.
