First and foremost, I need a friend that can actually understand me. I need a girl to help balance me out. I tend to be a rather reserved person so I need a good friend that I feel close enough to so that I can feel free to open up to her. I need a girl who has sweet heart, an open and creative mind, and who is intelligent and interested enough to sit down and have a deep, philosophical conversation. But I also need a girl that is grounded enough to this world that she can tether me down and keep me from drifting too far up and away off into the clouds. I need a girl that can bring out the silly side in me, somebody to keep me young at heart and that can help me remember what's important in life. I need a girl that will help to balance me out physically, mentally and emotionally. But like I said, first and foremost, I need a good, understanding friend. I don't want to make the mistake of taking things too fast again... It seems that that never really works out all so well... So I'm not exactly looking for a "girlfriend" per say, but I certainly do need a girl to confide my heart to. I need somebody to reflect with...
I feel very lonely at this point in my life. I am in great need of some sort of stimulation, be it physical, spiritual, mental or emotional. I feel like I need a big hug... I'm freshly single as my ex and I have concluded that we are not getting back together after all. But at least we're still close friends (even though she lives hundereds of miles away). I will always love her, but now I guess it's time to move on, I need somebody new to fondle and to love. ;) Did I mention that one of these days I'm going to be a world class massage therapist? Want to help me explore the human body? :) No, but seriously...
Bjork Lyrics
All Is Full Of Love Lyrics
you'll be given love
you'll be taken care of
you'll be given love
you have to trust it
maybe not from the sources
you have poured yours
maybe not from the directions
you are staring at
trust your head around
it's all around you
all is full of love
all around you
all is full of love
you just aint receiving
all is full of love
your phone is off the hook
all is full of love
your doors are all shut
all is full of love!
all is full of love
all is full of love
all is full of love
all is full of love
all is full of love...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. You playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others."----Nelson Mandela, 1994 Inaugural Speech (Taken from Alex Grey's Transfigurations)
All I truly desire is to inspire people to question the validity of this reality, as the validity of this reality seems to me to be rather questionable…
I want to meet the people out roaming the streets, the Dharma Bums dropped here (unclad, shivering, wearing not a stitch of domestic fleece).
I'm looking to find people who can see the subtle beauty in life... I'm looking for people who can understand the video below. This is one of the most inspirational short videos that I've ever seen, let alone captured on my cell phone. The video is of a nephew of a good friend of mine kicking a ball, but not just any ball--a flat one... The ball was flat before the the package was opened, before breath had ever been uttered into it. It wasn't realized that the ball had a hole in it until it was first inflated, but as soon as air was breathed into the poor ball, it gasped a short, dying breath (the ball was from the 99 Cent store, anyway...). Upon understanding that the cheap imitation of a ball wasn't going to function properly, the kids began chastising the crappy ball, leaving it to slowly deflate further while they went to play on the "big kids" toy, a giant, two story, inflatable water slide. It was then that my friend's youngest nephew, as he was too small to play on the water slide, approached the mostly deflated ball and started to kick it. This young kid was kicking a flat ball and having seemingly more fun than the other kids playing on the water slide. I had never witnessed a child with such an open mind, as to have fun with a toy that every other kid had no desire to touch, as it was "broken". But my friend's youngest nephew didn't have any care that it was "broken", for as to him, it was as good as any toy could be. I was inspired by this message that expressed itself through the flesh and blood of a care-free child, that it isn't what a person looks at or interacts with that's most important, but rather HOW ONE MAY CHOOSE TO PERCEIVE that which they are viewing or interacting with. Perspective truly is everything in this reality... "Wanna kick it... huh?"
