I love music and like a bit of everything except anything that involes rap, excessive crotch grabbing, Usher, actually anything that involves R& B FULL STOP. My favourite album at this precise moment in time that I am listening to most would probably be The Rapture- Pieces of the people we love. I've got 6000 songs on my i-pod currently so I won't name them all but a few firm faves would have to be: The Arcade Fire, Art Brut, The Beatles, Blondie, The Clash, The Coral, Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, The Eurythmics, Editors, Fatboy Slim, Franz Ferdinand, Goldfrap, Groove Armada, The Happy Mondays, Hot Chip, Ian Brown, Interpol, Jamiroqui, Joy Division, The Killers, Kings Of Leon, Larrikin Love, LCD Soundsystem, Madonna, Maximo Park, Nine Black Alps, No Doubt, Oasis, The Ordinary Boys (1st album), Peaches, Pink Floyd, Queen, Queen and more Queen, The Rakes, Rufus Wainwright, The Strokes, Sex Pistols, Tiga, Tom Vek, U2, The Verve, The Vines, The White Stripes, The who, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Young Knives, Zero 7 and the Zutons.
Too many to mention! I've got a DVD collection of about 400, got to love HMV for those 5 for £30 deals... They're 5 for £27 if your lucky enough to have a student card! So best carry on buying like a crazed loon while I still have that Luxury! I’m quite in to my modern films my big budget block-busters as Tallulah would say. I don’t really own any classics (except Aladdin, cant go wrong with a bit of Disney!) I love Disney Pixar, Finding Nemo is what can only be described as immense! Actually love all the computer animated films. Tim Burton is an amazing film-maker. Every film is a classic in its own right. I love Edward scissor hands, the nightmare before Christmas, Big Fish and Corpse Bride. Baz Luhrmann's films are also visually amazing. Romeo and Juliet and Moulin Rouge are fantastic. I am also a Tarantino fan. Until Kill Bill my favourite was probably Pulp Fiction. You’ve got to love a bit of cheese as well from working title as well with such chese-tastic masterpieces as Bridget Jones' Diary, Notting Hill and About A Boy! I like all the movies based on the Marvel comic books. My favourite comic book movie is Sin city though the cinematography in it is amazual. Anything starring Jonny Depp is well worth a look in my books as well because of his amazing talent. Guilty pleasures: Guy Ritchie films Favourite film this year: March of The penguins (because they have been my favourite animal from birth! How can you not love them!)
I don't currently own a television as serious addiction has plagued me in the past. However with much love and support from those around me and many hours of painful therapy, I have been able to work through this and have managed to kick the habit. I found my saviour... ALCOHOL (and lots of it!) Henceforth I'm rarely in to watch it! Also judging by my last soiree into the medium that is often referred to by those in the know and might I add quite rightly, the idiot box, there is naff all worth watching anyway! Seriously people, who honestly enjoys curling up on the sofa of a Saturday evening to watch some total wet blanket with delusions of grandeur balling because they got voted of off X-factor?... Please! I find DVD’s to be more in keeping with my fast paced and ever busy lifestyle. In my vast collection I have such wondrous titles as: Friends, Ally McBeal, SATC, Teachers, The Royle family, The office, Phoenix nights, The OC, Desperate housewives and Nathan Barley. I’m also quite partial to a spot of Boosh action and have recently rarely left the house due to the fact I’ve been completely addicted to the Lost box sets!
I’m not a big reader to be honest. You could probably count the number of full books I have read in my life on your fingers and toes (don't rush to take your socks off as they would probably all fit on your fingers!) I have however read a handful of books in my life, I read a book called Hatchet and I liked it so much I read it and the sequel in about 2 days I didn't put them down it was kind of like lost- plane crashes on an island the person has to survive... yada yada yada. I've also read several Tom Clancy books which I also find I can't put down I usually read them on holiday however for obvious reasons I don't sunbathe much anymore (I could do without skin cancer!) I love picture books though mostly art books I have the Guy Bourdin book which I love I think his photos are beautiful and really timeless I also have Terry Richardson’s book of photos- Terry World because secretly I’m a perv!
