Andre singer/songwriter, born in Uruguay started to perform and write his own songs at the age of 13 years old, in 1997 joins Sotano Blues Band and two years later he wins the best blues band in Uruguay by "X fm" in a competition where over a hundred band were participating. Andre plays his first big appereance in the Montevideo Blues Festival, festival where big artists such as BB King were performing.After this apareance Andre originals songs start to play in different radio stations in Uruguay and outside his country and he is invited to travel to Chile to sign his first record deal.Back from Chile meets Cuban Voice Prodigy "Eddy Peñalver"(first voice in tropicana, Cuba). Eddy invites him to play along his band, Andre decides to joining it. That s the way he has first approach with Latin/Salsa music.At that time Eddy was recording his album with Obligado records in Uruguay, and Obligado Records offer a record deal to Andre too, to work in some of their productions and in his original songs.After performing in different well known Boy Bands for a short period of time, Andre goes to sing as a soloist in the Uruguayan biggest cultural movement, Carnival. At the end of Carnival joins famous Boy Band "Urban Boys", who were then the number one band in most of the uruguayan charts in summer 2002. But , after doing some recordings, Andre decided to move to Europe. Once in Europe, Andres Started to Study Speech Level Singing vocal Technique in London and decided to go to Los Angels to study too, to become a voice teacher. Then he joins Calle Latina Salsa Band and Sabor Cubano Salsa Band and perform in Ireland regulary for 2 years, during studiyng in becoming a certified Vocal Coach. In this proces he shares the stage with greatest voices and musicians as Evelio Galan from (Riverside,CUBA), Lucia Evans, Dany Healy, Stefano Muscovi, Steve Hanks, Pat Corless, etc.During those years Andre focuses in growing up his acknowledge in Latin music and into improve his voice and his teaching as much as possible.That s why he travels to Los Angeles, Manchester, London, Cracovia, Viena etc, to study with famous coach Seth Riggs and other well know vocal coaches .Actually Andres runs the Galway Voice studio and is performing regulary in Cuba Libre Salsa Band in Ireland, and with Tango quartet Fantango. Also he s travelling to viena to study Opera, and producing his first solo album with famous Salsa/Latin arrengers from Mexico, Cuba and Usa......Hopefully...it will be ready soon.....
