Let me start off by saying I am a much different Valerie
than the Valerie you knew 2 years ago. I
still have some of the same qualities, but overall I am different. I am now a 27 year old step-mother of three
beautiful girls. I am committed to my
family, which includes a beautiful, amazing and selfless woman named Cindy
Crawford (LOL, just kidding) Gracie. So
many people have said this to me. “I don’t know how you do it. I could never be with someone with kids. Especially three of them.†I am able to do it because I am in love with
this woman. She is everything I have
ever wanted. At times, she is even
more. I did not just fall in love with
her. I fell in love with her package.
HAHA!! Not that package, the GIRLS! LOL!
I fell in love with a family.
I knew she was the one from the first time we locked eyes. I saw the future I always wanted in her. I remember how beautiful she looked the first time she ran her fingers through her hair. I remember all the small things.Don’t get me wrong, it’s not always flowers and chocolates. It gets rough for me at times. I am use to a carefree, get up and go lifestyle. It’s not the spontaneous lifestyle I am use
to. However, it’s anything but
routine. I am anything but routine. I HATE ROUTINE. An ex once told me that having a family would
make things routine for me. I think she
told me this to scare me away from being the parent I always wanted to be. It is so far from the truth. Each and every day, minute and second is so
very different with a family like ours.
Our girls are involved with MECA.
They are part of the dance department.
This keeps us all really busy... ..My life is busier than I could have ever even imagined it
would become. I'm not sure where all the
time goes. Seems like I get up and it’s
already time to go to sleep again. I
stay busy working as a food and beverage supervisor at the George R. Brown and
partially running my (now almost nothing) company. I gave it up for insurance. I went 10 years as a diabetic with NO
insurance. NOT FUN! I am usually off 2 or 3 days a week. Almost never off on the weekend. Most days are 10-18 hour days. It gets crazy, but I enjoy what I do... ..Even with our hectic/crazy schedules, we still manage to
have at least 1-2 date night a week.
It’s not as hard as we once thought it would be... ..Because I am getting lazy, I am just going to sum this up
really quick (After I have already written a dang book!).. ..My name is Valerie Almogabar.I want to get pregnant within the year.I am a step mom of 3.I have lost about 100 lbs in the past 3 years.I love animals.I am a drummer.I play a little piano and a little guitar (Well, it’s a
regular size piano and guitar)I am a total GAMER and will always be. Even when I am 75
years old.I am totally, madly and insanely in love with my amazing
family. Yes, even when they get on my nerves.I am the happiest I have ever been.I found my dream girl (My number one) and I plan to keep her.I miss my friends. :(This is ME! Either
