I've been seeing a lot of small theatre shows in L.A lately, and here are some that are coming up for me:
5/23/08: Baggage Claim -Filled with humor and drama, Baggage Claim is the journey of one man's struggle to overcome the anger and bitterness of his past to hopefully find a place of peace and forgiveness. He learns that with the help of "family," anything is possible.
6/20/08: Slideshow: In Color! -One of the most unique shows in L.A. runs monthly at the Fake—but this ain't your mama's slideshow! Eight rotating comedians, singers, storytellers and celebrities describe their own personal journeys—from the good to the bad to the ugly—with the actual slides to prove it. Honesty rules at Slideshow, so buckle up and enjoy the ride; this show is not for the faint of heart!
Grew up in a small town in Virginia where the biggest thing is a Wal-Mart supercenter now with lots of hunting video games in the lobby. Right after graduating from college, joined the Navy for six years and got to see some amazing parts of the world, which sparked my travel bug. Now I've got to pick somewhere new to see at least every couple of years. Some of the countries I've been fortunate enough to have seen: Brazil, Chile, Peru, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain, France, Italy, Kuwait, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Phillippines, Singapore, Hong Kong.
