About Me

What is my life all about is what I often ponder upon. As I sit here, my life is all about the "Crunchy, oven baked, pretzels with a spicy cheese pizza flavored filling" little nuggets I am eating! Other times (other than now) I ponder is there more to life than this? Every time I ooze this thought through my brain the answer is always "yes there is!" What is it you ask me? I still haven't figured it out, but I hope to one day. Maybe there is what Rich Mullins wrote in his lyrics "There's more that dances on the prairies than the wind. There is more that pulses in the ocean than just this tide." I believe God gives us incredible things in our lives that always either makes us wanting more or finding true meaning in what we have. In my life, I think it revolves around my gracious family who have bestowed upon me their blessings, my music that I write from my heart, my art that I try express myself with and finally my job that I spend long hours working out for the pleasure of my 150 students or so! Now you may be thinking, well what about God, doesn't He revolve around your life? Well, I try to revolve around God and He is also the one that gives me all those blessing that I just spoke of! I have been on this earth for a mere 26 years. I have spent 21 (or so) of those years growing up and finding myself, almost 10 years of my life learning my craft of songwriting and writing music, nearly 7 of those years fully devoting myself to God, almost 4 years teaching middle school students the topics I so carely look upon and finally the last 3 years of my life finally somewhat growing up, moving out on my own (in a different state at that!), and learning what it takes to survive in this crazy little blue marble we live upon.
