Born in the small town of Dothan, Alabama, and raised in an even smaller town of Campbellton, Florida, Mac A. Wilson has introduced to the music industry one of the most unique and biggest voices since Robert Johnson, Frankie Lymon, Al Green, or Lenny Williams. At the age of ten, Mr. Wilson became a songwriter/artist and began performing immediately in front of his peers within the surrounding areas in which he lived. By the age of six-teen, he had already won the hearts of many with his live onstage performances which was very different from other artist whether it was competitious or just in support of community events. Mac was mentored by his mother (Mary Lee Wilson) and his father (George Arthur Grayson) who strictly believed in their kids going to church every Sunday. "My mom would get up on Sunday mornings and cook a big breakfast. While cooking she would sang church songs non-stop and i would sit at the kitchen table and listen real carefully how she hit her notes. My mom taught me how to sing and never knew it, so i sang to her everytime i go home to visit. Thanks Mom." Mac Wilson has recorded with more than 1,000 underground artist and his voice can be heard underground all over the United States and Overseas. He has become known as the "Destroyer of Competition" and has won more than twenty talentshows in the last eight years. "I just get onstage and do my shows different everytime. A young man told me once before that he has never seen me do the same show twice. I said, "Really." I have won a lot of trophies but i can only show you two of them. The reason is because most of the time i will pick someone to go onstage with me to do the show and when i win first place i just give he/she the trophy to motivate that person to never quit." Wilson now resides in Savannah, Georgia and is nearly completed with his debut album which will be in stores soon. Be on the lookout for the self-entitled album "IT IZ WHAT IT IZ" Coming Soon!!!!
