Sundown Magic is a four-member rock band hailing from Parkstad Limburg (NL). Their music ranges from hard to soft rock, covering a broad spectrum of emotions felt in everyday life.
Unlike many other bands, Sundown Magic tries to maintain a proper balance in their music by performing both serious and fun songs, so both reflecting and partying audiences can enjoy each gig. Also, the band embraces technique as a way to make their songs more interesting and intense, but rejects technique for its own sake:
‘If it doesn’t rock, we don’t do it!’
The band originated in 2007, when the remaining members of Mash Parade joined forces with an additional guitarist to abandon the principle of uniting as many styles as possible into their music and focussing on rock music.
By the end of 2008, after more than a year of rehearsing and writing music, Sundown Magic decided it was time to start doing live shows. During the same time, a very talented new singer was added to the band.
