About Me

I am a singer who also writes some songs. I live in Logan City (just south of Brisbane), Queensland, Australia. I have just been involved in my first recording project, Say'n - A Song Of Life. It is a CD designed to create awareness of mental health issues in the community. I have written and sung two songs on the CD, as well as singing co-lead on another song. The CD is being launched on 11 October 2007 at Belmont Private Hospital, Brisbane. The CD is $15, plus $2.50 postage (Australia) or $6.00 postage (rest of the world). If you wis to purchase a copy, send me a message.
SEPTEMBER 2008 UPDATE!: I have recorded a rough demo of a new song, "Three Trees" and added it to the site. It is available for download and the lyrics are also available. It was written in July 08 and recorded into a minidisc recorder in August. Written by Daniel Bosch. Daniel Bosch: Vocal and Acoustic Guitar.
NEW! Say'n now has its own MySpace page, please come and visit and be a friend there too. The link is Say'n - A Song Of Life
Moving On: written and arranged by Daniel Bosch. Daniel Bosch: acoustic and electric rhythm guitars, all vocals; Sean: arpegio and solo guitar; Bela: bass guitar; Dave: drums
The Exhibition (For All To See): written and arranged by Daniel Bosch. Daniel Bosch: acoustic rhythm guitar, vocal; Sean: acoustic lead guitar; Bela: bass guitar; Dave: drums.
I Will Remember You: words by Say'n, music by Libby Gleadhill, arranged by Libby Gleadhill. Daniel Bosch & Libby Gleadhill: lead vocals; Say'n Choir: backing vocals; Dave: percussion; Libby Gleadhill & Dave S.: piano; Bela: double bass.
For those of you in Queensland, there will be a story about the project, including an interview with myself, on the 5 October edition of Stateline on the ABC at 7.30pm. For interstate viewers, the episode will be shown on ABC2 on 10 October at 9.30am.
If you are a local musician, group, or anyone in the business and you like the sound of my voice and/or songs, please contact me. I am anxious to do more musically, particularly singing. I am not looking to become famous (though I wouldn’t say no!), I just want to sing and create music with like-minded people. If you want to know what sort of music I am into, see below, I have a large list of bands I like. My friends list is also a good indication.
Thank you for listening to my music.

My Interests

Music:

Influences: I don't know if I'd call them influences, but music I like includes: Rick Altizer, Asia, The B-52's, The Beatles, Jackson Browne, Chicago, Crowded House, Delirious?, Devo, Thomas Dolby, Dream Theater, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Jason Falkner, Neil Finn, Tim Finn, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, IQ, Joe Jackson, Jellyfish, Jethro Tull, Nik Kershaw, King Crimson, Level 42, Marillion, The Mars Volta, Paul McCartney, Neal Morse, The Nice, Oingo Boingo, Pink Floyd, Simon & Garfunkel, Skyhooks, Michael W Smith, Split Enz, Spock's Beard, Talking Heads, 10CC, They Might Be Giants, Transatlantic, U2, Ultravox, Wall Of Voodoo, XTC, Weird Al Yankovic, Yes. And many others I have probably forgotten to mention!
Sounds Like: I love many styles of music (as can be seen above!), but my music falls into the singer/songwriter category, for want of a better description. I am keen to expand my musical horizons though.
