I'm Lauren and I'm pretty fuckin' awesome. I'm 20 years old and I'm from Riegelwood, NC. Riegelwood is a really small town out in the country which is about 20 minutes from Wilmington, NC. I enjoy being in the city, but I'll always be a country girl at heart! I was born and raised in the country, and that's where I plan to live in the future. I'm a Sophomore at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I received the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Scholarship, which means I have almost a full ride to college. This also means that the Teaching Fellows program owns my soul for eight years. The Teaching Fellows scholarship requires me to teach four years in NC before I can leave for another state (I don't think I want to leave NC anyway though). My major is History/Secondary Education. I am really into the arts...especially music, theatre, and photography. I am a hopeless romantic, although no one would probably ever know that. I'm waiting to meet that one person who is going to love me just as much as I love them. I'm super close to my family and I love them with all of my heart. I wouldn't be the person I am today without all of their love and support. My friends are also VERY important to me, and I would do almost anything for them. I am truly the happiest when I'm hangin' out with my friends and having a great time. Once you have me as a friend, I'm there for life. Sometimes I care way too much about people and just end up getting hurt, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop caring. I'm a very honest person and I hate liars and fake people. I don't do drama very well, so if you thrive off of drama, please stay away from me. I hate being ignored...so if you're my friend, then you better be my friend at ALL times...not just when it's convenient for you. I may possibly appear shy when you first meet me, but I'm definitely not. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable enough around new people to be open with them. Once you get to know me, I'm an outgoing, crazy, and very funny person! Joking around and being crazy with my friends is one of my favorite things. I'm very open-minded and I love doing random, spur of the moment things. I'll try almost anything once, unless it's just plain stupid. I can be quite opinionated, but I won't force my opinions on anyone because I hate when people do that to me. Although, don't ask me my opinion on something if you don't want to know the complete truth of what I think, haha. By the way, I cuss almost as often as I breathe, so if that offends you, then you might not wanna be my friend, lol.
