My name is Shasta.. I was born in June of 2007 and I'm a Bobtail Manx cat.. My Mommy and Daddy rescued me at the Roane County Animal shelter in September of 2007.. I really like living with them.. At first I was really scared.. Not of Mommy and Daddy.. They were really nice, but of the other cat that lived here.. He kept following me and wouldn't leave me alone.. He wanted to be friends really badly, but I missed my sister who had to stay at the shelter.. Mommy wanted to take her too, but there just wasn't enough room for three cats here.. Well, after a little while I decided to try playing with him a little.. Turns out it wasn't too bad.. Now we're best buds and we get into tons of mischief together.. Between you and me I think I may be a little tougher than him.. I let him win sometimes, though.. Just so that he doesn't get too depressed..
