Chad Gerber is the frontman/guitarist for The Suicide Denial, but along with that he is a guitarist/lyricist/producer/pianist/composer/synthisist, who has been involved professionally in music since the age of 17 years old. Chad began pursuing music as a child after he realized music was the only thing that came naturally to him. Due to an odd birth related brain disorder, Chad was unable to retain most objective, sequential, and analytical thought (numbers, patterns, puzzles). This mental handicap caused his right brain (creative side) to overcompensate for the lack of left brain activity on the other side. As he grew up, everything he learned that should have gone into his left brain, was translated, and transfered into his right. As a result, he naturally drifted towards music, simply because it made sense. At the age of 8 he began playing classical guitar, at 11 acoustic, then electric at 12. As you guessed, guitar is his primary weapon, but he has been known to play some mean Xbox. Chad is a music whore, who has whored his skills to hip hop, folk, rock, classical, latin rock, acoustic pop, and film. He has toured nationally, performed live on radio, and tv, A Prairie Home Companion, recorded with members of Guns N Roses, Toto, OPM, Aloe Blacc, the infamous Blake Knight (ill harmonics), been pointlessly pursued by Sony Records, Capitol Records, Hollywood Records, Thrive Records, and has been kicked out of a church. Chad first received airplay at the age of 16 with with his song "As An Angel", Hollywood Records then came sniffing around, but Chad declined several of their song writing offers because they were shady.
Eventually Chad formed the Electronica rock band THE SUICIDE DENIAL which is signed to Divulge Records. Preview and Download
