Unholy Massacre started in September of 2006 as John Truesdale on vocals, Matt Watkins, a kid who doesn't deserve to be mentioned, and David Meyer on drums. They came up with a few songs, including Chaos and Zombies, and the making of Hell showed progress for the young metal band. Matt had a solo in it, which was a breakthrough for UM. Later, however, they had trouble making songs, due to clashing playing styles and interests between the members. It was not serious, but was enough to halt song production for a while. They did improve in their playing, though, and deemed their old songs not good enough anymore. After Christmas, John had started playing bass, and he played bass for the band as well as vocals. At the middle school talent show, they played a cover song that they all could get behind, which was the infamous Slayer song, Raining Blood. Just after the show, a new song was started and was finished in about a month. Nuclear War proved a new beginning in the Elmhurst metal band, and only good things are to come. Long story short, if you want metal thats fast, heavy, and has nothing to do with emo crap, come to one of our shows.
