Myspace Layouts“GARWE” are two brothers that have come along way performing in many different formations in their long existence in music.They started off in a band together called ‘Altius’ which they were in together for 7years. During their time in this band they reached the semi finals of the UK’s Emergenza unsigned music competition. They also performed numerous times in the ‘Clapham Grand’ which has also housed bands such as ‘Oasis’Whilst at university Takunda won the Coventry University Talent contest performing Garwe songs ‘Downtown’ and ‘Love Born’ winning professional recording time and advertisement advice. With the most recent CD ‘the Whence you came EP currently sold out and on sale in the ‘Tin Angel’ record shop (Spon Street, Coventry) much success is expected with the up and coming ‘Love Born’ LP.They are also set to perform along side dub step giant Andy C at the Cambridge Kings Affair which in the past has also hosted such bands as Noah and the Whale, Hot Chip and has sold out of 1,500 tickets.
