About Me

I was born a thursday around 16:30 on 21th of March 1974 (yeah you can draw a birth chart).
Living in a house full of "particular" books it was almost natural for me to became a geek, and so it was, apart from the usual light reading (Ermete Trismegisto, Evola, Crowley, Blackwood, Stoker and the rest of Golden Dawn!) I choose to deviate myself from the comfortable society buying the red D&D box (it was 1982/1983). It was the time of Thriller and to add a punch to my splendid social life I decided to became a Michael Jackson fan. I was luckily saved by me mother's cousins: me parents were not so bad but they had the tendency to "park me" around and a summer I was parked to this cousin's sea house and she introduced me to Genesis, Pink Floyd and Beatles. That was the real turn over for my life: be aware that maybe was possible to play a guitar even for me! So in the summer of 1987 I started to learn guitar and that was the beginning of the end. The first band were the Hot Thunder, where I met G.Cioni, bassplayer of I Nostri Porci Comodi. But my real band were the Golden Dawn (couldn't be a different name), I have many other band at the same time. I discovered also Black Sabbath so I became one of the last metal people of Spanish Stairs.
Then after some years I decided to study classical guitar, and I took the licence of theory and solfege, but soon after I stopped studing classical guitar.
One of the records that were always present in my life was Chieftains 4, I always found their kind of music deeply intriguing until I seriously started to play traditional irish, scottish and breton music.
In my life I learned (selftaught because I am poor) to play piano, tabla, fiddle, a little of irish tenor banjo (I am still studing it) and the wonderful and "surprisingly metal" bouzouki.
I have met a lot of religious, political and philosophical, groups. The worst one were all the new age and some Soka Gakkai lads (I am sorry guys but there something odd in SOME of you but if you like you can chant daimoku for my soul, many thanks) In 1992 I started to seriously study Vedic Literature and in 1993 I became lacto-vegetarian and in 2002 from my Spiritual Father Jayapataka Swami, I took the name od Madhu Nitai das: The Servant of Nityananda in the Mood Sweetness (is there a moment where He's not in this mood?). Still being attached to Guru Maharaj and not blaming him for nothing I devenloped a kind of adversion for the western societies of devotees but it's something long and complicated to discuss here.
Aside my music "career" I have to make a confession... if you didn't notice I am very fond of humor, I write skits, short stories and jokes, actually I am not a prolific author but I like a good laugh and a good sketch but more than everything I would like to write something comic for TV, that's a kind of dream that in Italy you can realize only sieging RAI with an Army. Respectfully speaking humour is not democratic, actually is quite aristocratic, Everybody can be sad but not everybody can be comic (yeah you can put it in a choccolate wrap).
It looks that I have to say that I fancy martial arts, I practiced Ikido, Tien Shan Pai Kung Fu and Ken Jutsu, but don't worry unless I don't carry a 357 Magnum it's easy to beat me to a pulp: mainly cos' I am lazy.
What else? Do I have to say something about my gorgeus and wonderful shaman wife? I think not. ...and about my ahead-with-his-time and beautiful son? Again I think not. They exist but are classified.
