He won the Daytime Emmy Award in 2008 for his work on CBS's Daytime Drama Guiding Light and is one of few African-American to receive the award.His other TV production mixing credits include Elvis Costello's new show "Spectacle", "The Chris Rock Show", Jamie Foxx's Laffapolooza, Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham", Bill Clinton's Global Initiative for Live Nation, Showtime at the Apollo, MTV's "TRL", and "Choose or Lose" and Late Show with David Letterman.Charlie Jones "CJ" is currently Audio Supervisor at the CBS Broadcast Center in New York where he oversees audio and sound design for BET and Guiding Light.
