WELL. IF ANYONE STILL USES MYSPACE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN BAND-PIMPING, PLEASE NOTE THAT I SCARCELY LOOK IN HERE MUCH. TRY ME ON FACEBOOK, IF YOU MUST. FIND ME UNDER "BRYON ADAMSON". I THANK YOU.
You still here? Okay. Who am I? Well, other than possibly my interest in Go-Kan-Ryu karate (a mix of Goju and Shotokan), or more likely, my being the taxi-driver for my number one daughter's need to go to every dojo in the area, the mundane day-to-day stuff won't interest you, so let's skip to the more public version of "me":
I write music and do design stuff for Revolution By Night (otherwise known to all as "RBN"). I play keys when RBN hit the stage; a bass player by inclination/nature, which explains a lot. We make pretty bleeps in a tuneful way. We hope. We've played WGT a couple of times and some other gigs of note.
The "me" that isn't playing the popstar is a relatively private/reserved person. I have a life, but not nearly as eventful or interesting as it should be. I am "someone's dad" as I was once described. I'm vegetarian, but that's not all that interesting to know is it?
That's the front of our latest T-shirt design btw.
The official band website is being renovated atm so the MySpace page will have to cope for now. For those who thought the Faithless EP was fab, we haven't stopped working on that new album! Just time and money, always in short supply. Things *are* shaping up nicely tho! :-) Just never enough time, is there?
The non band-whore bit: my current workload is getting back into the job market, being a full time referee to my brood AND trying to be a successful musician. Is a tough job, a dirty job but, as FNM once sang, "It's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it".
Amongst other things, I'm trying to get my head around another problem: potential stardom, a new career AND parenthood? Is it possible? Hope so.
Also, being single again hasn't so far been all it might be, but there's a whole new year looming, so let's see what happens with that, huh?
(That last bit is heavy on vagueness due to the fact that just about anybody can read MySpace profiles...)
