Since I am majoring in hospitality I am very interested in the Catering and Event planning portion of it. I love what I do at my job, but I also like using my brain, so I try to keep up with currrent events and international issues, hence the minor in business and internatinal relations. Out side of school and work, I love cooking and spending time with the family and friends. Dancing, going out with the girls, drinking and eatting are definitely my favorite things to do if I ever get a chance. I am also trying to expand my palate and wine knowledge, so when I get the chance I love going to new restaurants and learning more about how and where their food comes from, and how the cultures from where they come. And, of course, I have always been into shopping and fashion, its theraputic, but I have to admit its a little sad I have clothes all this clothes, but never have anything to wear.

WOW, this one is kind of hard, because I have a very wide ranging taste in music. Obviuosly I like hip hop and some rap, but some of the crunk and regeatton is just rediculous, I mean yeah good to dance to, but its not something that you can really listen to the lyrics and be like wow, that means something. I LOVE old jazz and blues like Billie Holidayand Louis Armstrong, as well as Ray Charles and Nat King Cole. Then I also love RB and Disco music form the 60's and 70's, when I was little thats pretty much all my mom would play along with boleros and spanish music from Juan Luis Guerra, and Luis Miguel, Rey Ruiz, I am talking late 80's early 90's Gloria Estfan stuff, what can I say its a bit of a jump, but it reminds me of good times. Then I also have a rock side to me, I grew also listening to a lot of Aeromith, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lynard Skynard, Van Halen, Guns n' Roses, etc. You get the point kinda strange combinations, but its part of me and my mood. Lately, its been surprisingly enough Justin Timberlakes~ I'm bringing sexy back!So many of them, but top picks have to be Double Jeopardy, Scarface, Man on Fire, Maid in Manhattan, The Wedding Planner, I Am Sam, Sixteen Candles, Manequin, Finding Nemo, Sleeping Beauty, Splash, and Four Brother, Fear is another one with Mark Wahlberg, which I liked.

I mainly like books that are based on real life traumas like Go Ask Alice and SMACK. As for actual helpful reading I did enjoy Jeffrey Sachs' The End of Poverty, and Don Miguel Ruiz's the Four Agreements. Scarlett Letter, Brave New World, the Handmaid's Tale, The Bell Jar and 1984 were also pretty interesting books I read in high school. I recently read Martin and Malcolm which I have to say was rather interesting look into the 60's and 70's Civil Movements and religion. And of course, the girly love conquers all books like Memoirs of a Geisha and Pride and Prejudice.

My MOM, becuase she is so compassionate and caring, but sometimes she's a little too naive, there's where my AUNT GLADYS comes in, she's a tough cookie, always very strong and trying to hold us all together, but get her around her nephews and nieces and she melts. Then of course there's my UNCLE DAVID, he has been my father figure and worked so hard, continues to do so as well, he's an ex-Marine who served in the Gulf War and a now a dedicated father and husband..
