Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode is an electronic music group that formed in 1980 in Basildon, England. The group's original lineup consisted of David Gahan, Martin Gore, Andrew Fletcher, and Vince Clarke. However, Vince Clarke left the band after the release of their 1981 debut album; soon replaced by Alan Wilder. Wilder played with the band from 1982 to 1995. Following Wilder's departure, Gahan, Gore, and Fletcher have continued as a trio.

Depeche Mode is one of the longest-lived, most successful and influential bands from the New Romantic and New Wave era. As of 2006, it was estimated that Depeche Mode had sold over 91 million records worldwide and have had forty-four songs in the UK Singles Chart. They have had more top 40 hits in the UK than any other artist. Their music inspires people everyday.
