Hey, I'm Mariah. My birthday is June 11. I am a sophomore at Indiana University Northwest for Secondary English Education, and I work midnights at Steak and Shake. I like to paint my toenails and drive barefoot. I don't care if I run to the grocery store in boxer shorts and a dirty t-shirt; I don't have to look pretty for anyone. I play my music too loud and I drive too fast. I laugh a lot. I like to watch movies and waste time and sit outside, especially around a bonfire. I abhor violence; I tend to have a calm temperament and I solve problems with logic and peace (as should everyone else). I love nighttime in the summer. My life's been full of some amazing experiences, and I wouldn't trade any of them for anything. I believe that people should be able to do anything they want with no mental, moral, or societal restraints, and I live my life that way as much as I can. I love to reason and debate; I love to prove a point, but I know I won't change your mind. I have no shame singing along to a song I like or dancing if I feel like it. I tend to be loud, and if I'm yelling, I'm usually not actually mad. I'm sarcastic and vulgar and open-minded, and I swear. I surround myself with the people I want to be around; I don't have to put up with anyone I don't want to. I don't rely on anyone, but I appreciate the help. I am confident and very comfortable with myself. I'm a big advocate for self-discovery and expanding your life. The more things you try, the more well-rounded you are and the more likely you are to find your niche.
